Cloud Solution of the Year

ZaveIT’s win as Cloud Solution of the Year highlights the power of partner-led service growth. Together with StonesThro, Zadara and Lupovis, ZaveIT shows how MSPs can package, deliver and scale complex managed services through a trusted ecosystem and a smarter commercial platform.

ZaveIT and its partners win Cloud Solution of the Year

Proves new model for MSP service growth.

ZaveIT win at the Storage Awards follows a UK collaboration with StonesThro, Zadara and Lupovis, showing how MSPs can bring complex managed services to market through trusted partner ecosystems.

ZaveIT has been named Cloud Solution of the Year at the Storage Awards in London, one of the industry’s established awards programmes for cloud, storage and managed IT services.

The award recognises more than a standalone technology platform. For ZaveIT, it validates a partner-led model that has already been put into practice in the UK market through its collaboration with StonesThro, Zadara and Lupovis.

Together, the companies have supported a managed cyber deception service that combines StonesThro’s UK MSP expertise, Zadara’s edge cloud and storage infrastructure, Lupovis’ deception technology, and ZaveIT’s commercial platform layer. The service creates realistic decoy targets for cyber threats and was recently covered editorially by Storage Magazine.

This award belongs to the team and the partnerships behind it, says Lars Olav Habberstad, CEO at ZaveIT. We would not be telling this story without the work done with StonesThro, Zadara and Lupovis. It is a strong example of what happens when a trusted MSP, proven infrastructure, specialist technology and a scalable commerce platform come together.

A partnership-led proof point in the UK market

The StonesThro collaboration matters because it shows how MSPs are increasingly bringing new services to market. Rather than one company building and delivering everything alone, successful service models are being formed through specialist ecosystems.

In this case, StonesThro brings local customer relationships and understanding of the UK market. Zadara provides enterprise-grade edge cloud and storage infrastructure. Lupovis contributes cyber deception technology. ZaveIT provides the commercial layer that helps structure, automate and scale the service offering across partners and customers.

We needed a SaaS billing and provisioning system out of the box, integrated with Zadara, says Andy Bates at StonesThro. But to build the ecosystem we want to build, we also needed a marketplace. ZaveIT provides all this.
Alasdair Hill, Sales Director at Zadara, says the collaboration illustrates the potential of edge cloud infrastructure in new managed service models. This is a hugely exciting project, illustrating the power og the edge cloud or microscaler. Collectively, we are driving a truly innovative new market.

For MSPs, this kind of model is becoming more important. Customers want access to advanced services, but they also expect clarity, speed, accountability and a professional buying and management experience. That requires more than technical capability. It requires the commercial structure to package, distribute, deliver and manage services consistently.

The future og managed services will be shaped by collaboration, says Habberstad. MSPs need to combine specialist technologies, infrastructure partners and their own customer relationships in ways that are repeatable and commercially sustainable.

Why this reflects a wider MSP market shift

Across the UK and Europe, MSPs are facing a more complex service environment. Many already have strong systems in place for service execution, finance, support and customer relationships, from PSA and CRM platforms to billing systems, distributor portals and vendor marketplaces.

The issue often sits between those systems. As service portfolios expand, MSPs need a clearer way to turn products, subscriptions, partner services and their own expertise into managed offerings that can be sold, delivered, billed and renewed at scale.

The pressure is not simply to deliver more. The real challenge is to make complex services easier to buy, easier to manage and easier to scale across customers, partners and resellers, without adding the same level of manual administration behind the scenes.

The ZaveIT, StonesThro, Zadara and Lupovis collaboration is one example of that shift in practice: a service built through a trusted partner ecosystem, supported by infrastructure, specialist cyber capability and a commercial platform layer.

From award win to partner ecosystem model

ZaveIT was also shortlisted for As a Service Platform of the Year and SaaS Provider of the Year at the Storage Awards, underlining the company’s role in the changing market for cloud, managed services and service delivery models.

Founded in Norway, ZaveIT is already active in Norway, the UK, Sweden and the Netherlands, with further expansion planned across the Nordics, Benelux and continental Europe. The company also holds the Made in Norway label from Innovation Norway.

For ZaveIT, the award is not only a recognition of its own software. It is recognition of a model where MSPs, vendors and technology specialists can work together to bring advanced services to market faster and more effectively.

Technology is still important, but it is no longer enough on its own, says Habberstad. The next winners in the MSP market will be those who can connect strong services with effective partner channels, a better customer experience and clearer proof of value.
